About Zara

Hi! I'm a university student with a strong background in mathematics, and Spanish, and I'm passionate about helping students build confidence in their learning. I went to a Spanish-immersion school K-5, and continued my Spanish-speaking journey to University! My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also develop a deeper understanding of the material and effective study habits that will benefit them in the long term.
I've seen first-hand that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching techniques to fit individual needs and learning styles. Whether preparing for an exam, working through challenging homework, or looking to strengthen foundational concepts, I'm committed to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment where questions and curiosity is always welcome.
I strive to make lessons engaging, clear, and productive so students feel confident tackling new challenges independently.

About the lesson

I have helped students ages 5-12 inside and outside the classroom in Spanish and English, and have experience in customer service so I understand different people's needs, and am able to cater to them very well. In a typical lesson, I will start by reviewing key concepts, but dedicate most time to practice because it gives the individual a chance to make mistakes, learn good approaches and techniques, and solidify learning! I am able to tutor anyone in Spanish so please reach out!
