About Mia
Hi! My name is Mia, and I am currently a first-year student at University of Birmingham. I have lived in Japan my whole life, going to both English-speaking and Japanese-speaking schools, and am fluent in both languages. I believe that especially when visiting or living in Japan, knowing the language can make the experience even more special. Learning a new language is daunting, but I would love to support anyone who is challenging themselves to do so!

I have tutored English and Maths in the past, mainly to young children. However, I am very comfortable tutoring people of any age. I will do my best to fit any student's needs so that they can reach their goal. My speciality is helping people with pronunciation and conversational Japanese. My lessons can range from 1-2 hours, once or twice a week, depending on students' schedules and needs. My times are very flexible. I have achieved top grades in Japanese GCSE and A levels, and have a certificate for N1 level in JPL.
