About Tara

I am currently pursuing a 5-year architecture program at the University of Notre Dame. My experience in tutoring spans various subjects and grade levels, and my recent work in Zambia has enriched my understanding of different educational needs and cultural perspectives. I am committed to maintaining the highest level of professionalism, and I take pride in inspiring confidence in my students. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and accessible, helping each student realize their full potential. I am here not just as a tutor, but as a mentor and a fellow student who understands the academic journey. Together, we can overcome challenges and achieve great success. :)

About the lesson

My teaching method is student-centered, which means I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous material to ensure continuity and retention. We then move on to the main topic of the day, which I introduce through clear explanations and examples. For mathematics, this might involve solving problems together, while for English, it could include reading passages, discussing themes, or working on writing exercises. What sets me apart is my passion for both learning and teaching. As a student myself, I understand the challenges and pressures that come with academic life, and I strive to create a supportive and motivating environment. I am patient and a good listener, and make sure my students are comfortable enough to collaborate with me throughout the learning process
