About Jess
About Me
Hi, I’m a third-year Physiology student at the University of Aberdeen. My academic path is focused on science and medicine, with the ultimate goal of qualifying as a doctor. This rigorous academic journey has given me a deep understanding of study techniques, discipline, and how to approach complex topics effectively.
Beyond my university studies, I am an active netball player, which helps me maintain a strong sense of teamwork, communication, and time management.
My passion for teaching comes from home. As the oldest sibling, I regularly tutor my younger sister in primary school and my younger brother in secondary school. This hands-on experience has taught me how to adapt my teaching style to different age groups—keeping lessons engaging and accessible for younger children, while remaining focused, structured, and exam-orientated for older students.
I bring this same patient, encouraging, and adaptive approach to every student I tutor, helping them build confidence and reach their full academic potential.
