About Peppi
I am currently in school completing my teaching degree. I worked as an assistant teacher and that helped gain a lot more real world experience on my passion. I have a deep love for teaching and helping others. There is no world without teachers who light the way and I would like more than anything to be the matchstick that lights ones candle.
There is nothing better than waking up in the morning and wanting to know more about the world around you. Learning should never feel a chore and that is what I always encourage in my classroom.

I don't teach to pass, I teach to provide knowledge and understanding. I develop my teaching style based on the different needs of my student in order to help them better understand and improve their view of the classroom. I am proficient in Afrikaans, however I do prefer to teach in English.
I provide a safe and comfortable learning environment that allows students to feel motivated by their mess-ups and their make-ups. I provide detailed explanations, real world examples and activities to test both their understanding and their cognitive abilities.
I also make use of external resources that students can make use of on their own. I teach primary students as well as grade 8&9. Main subjects include English, Afrikaans, Math and Science. I also assist with other subjects and am always willing to gain more knowledge myself.
