I am in my late 20's and have been tutoring and mentoring high school students and college agers for over five years. I have managed to tutor over 25+ students who graduated with honors from secondary and higher education institutions or even pursed the military as a career. As an adult educator, my key role is to empower my students, as active learners in a positively enriched and stimulating learning environment. Within this environment, I intend to incorporate discussions and collaborative learning from shared perspectives and experiences. These practical applications will in return exercise learning strategies and enhance confidence and self-esteem in the adult learner. With assurance, the learners can learn from each other and become infectious individuals by motivating other adult learners to effectively prepare for and manage real-life situations within their community to become civic-minded role models. Community learning and development is essential for personal or professional gain, for community learning within the subject matter.
