About Mathilde
Hello everyone, my name is Mathilde Boulanger and I am a second year student at Sciences Po Paris (at the English-speaking campus of Reims). I spent most of my schooling in Mauritius, hence my attraction for English, and I obtained my Economic and Social baccalaureate, international section, with honors. But the curriculum is not everything, in general, I have a fairly strong interest in literary and social subjects, and I like helping others, so tutoring seems to be the perfect combination, doesn't it? I have already had the opportunity to give lessons, whether to friends, acquaintances, brothers and sisters, and I adapt according to the person in front, everyone goes at their own pace.

I have only one motto, not to learn by heart, but to understand. During a lesson, I first try to see with the student what his strengths and weaknesses are and I try to provide exercises that will allow him to improve without getting discouraged. During my studies, I noticed that an approach less academic and based on the conversation made work the memory to more than 75%, but especially that the pupils brought a greater interest to the subjects taught.
