Hello, My name is Ciara.
I'm an American student in a Master 2 LCE English Studies (specializing in British Literature) at Lyon 3. I offer dynamic English lessons for students at any level. Each class is adapted for your personal needs and abilites, focusing on key learning techniques to allow each student to advance at their own rhythm.
Oral and written expression, oral and written comprehension, Business English, preparing for interviews and presentations, preparation for TOEIC and IELTS exams, translation of resumés and cover letters, etc.
As a classically trained singer, I have also worked heavily on pronounciation, vocal cadences and accents, all focused to help students become more confident in their speaking abilities. I believe that vocabulary AND pronounciation are key factors to learning any language and have an overall effect on one's self-assurance while speaking in that language.

Perfect! Je recommande vivement Ciara à tous ceux qui souhaitent améliorer leur prononciation en anglais. J'ai pris tous mes cours avec elle par Skype, elle est très disponible et très arrangeante pour les horaires.
J'ai pris une dizaine de cours avec Ciara et je pense avoir fait de réels progrès aussi bien au niveau de ma prononciation que de mon intonation.
Elle sait sélectionner de très bons contenus ce qui permet un cours très structuré, sons après sons, en s'appuyant sur des textes aussi bien littéraires que journalistiques. Elle saura s'adapter à votre niveau et à vos attentes pour vous proposer des leçons qui vous correspondront au mieux.....
