About Ana Maria

Since 2018 I have been a director and teacher of oratory, argumentation, debate and conjuncture. I started my process at the Gimansio Nuevo Modelia school and then continued to teach at the Debate Society of the Sergio Arboleda University.

I have developed a broad love for teaching because it allows me to share and create, which is why I later activated the Debate Society at the Sorrento IED College, where I worked together with the philosophy department as a teacher every Saturday since the beginning of 2021.

As of today, I am prepared to be a teacher to use new teaching mechanisms and provide my students with a great variety of knowledge that will be useful in their academic and daily life.

About the lesson

The key bases of my teaching are:

1.Use of public speaking (oratory): Regardless of the strengths of each student, I will teach them communicative strategies and language games so they can develop expositions, interviews and debates in a confident, argued way and reasoned.

2. Technology: I make use of technology and planning platforms such as reference managers, graphics platforms, document scheduling spaces, organization platforms, and diagramming and programming programs.

3. Disposition and emotional control: Created spaces for managing emotions, breathing exercises, managing frustration and mindfulness.

4. Academic work: Constantly I highlight he importance of searching academic sources, of reading, of creating knowledge. In this sense I base my work on teaching how to decompose concepts from a young child to adults.

All this in order to improve the learning environment and create mechanisms that contribute to the future of the child. or the student.
