I am a undergraduate student in B.Sc. Physics, Also i do part time as a tutor for students of classes 9 and 10 and physics for classes 11 and 12.

Practice is important basically.
Like wise you need a strong grip on topics as well. Daily classes covering a topic each and some problem related to that.
Problem sheets shall be provided so that student can figure out the time required to solve in exams.
This actually gives a head start.
Application of knowledge is as important as know them after sometime you will gradually have fun in doing it and start loving the subject.
