About Anne-Marie
I used to struggle with English as a subject and thanks to my previous teachers I excelled in the subject, achieving a grade 9 in English Literature and Language GCSE and an A in English Literature and Language A-Level. I achieved a First Class Honours in English Literature from Newcastle University. I have just completed my Masters in Law and I will be completing another Masters for my Solicitor Qualifying exams this year.
I have experience with all ages in tutoring English since January 2022 and found a passion teaching to younger students. This has included SEN students with autism, dyslexia, and ADHD. I tutored for 9 hours a week.
As a university student I am fully flexible with my timetable and believe in working around a students preferences and requests.

I cater my methods of tutoring and methodology depending on the age ranges of my students. For example:
Primary students:
- Focus teaching primarily around creative writing, comprehension, spelling, and grammar
- Use test papers as a template to get students familiarised with exam format
Secondary and GCSE and A-Level:
- Essay structure for Assessment Papers
- Language analysis with help with supplying quotations
- Past Papers in which we focus on singular questions to perfect skills based on demand of questions.
Lengths of lessons can be between 1-2 hours depending on the students request. Flexibility ensures they can be provided with as many lessons as they wish per week.
