About Ashley

I’m very passionate about math. If not for my love of the engineering field as a whole I would’ve pursued a math major. My hope as your tutor is to show a student that math isn’t as terrible as everyone thinks and that sometimes it just takes someone with a love for it to make someone else understand it better.

About the lesson

I will focus more on a student learning through struggle. I like to look at what a student is currently learning and give them similar problems. From there, I have them work through the problem and struggle to figure it out themselves. When they can’t go any farther on a particular problem I then walk through their work and explain what in the work does or does not work and how to avoid those mistakes.

Perfect! Ashley is an excellent tutor! My teen said that she is able to explain things from the students perspective. They also wanted to continue to work with her without any persuasion. Highly recommend!
