About Lara
I gave private violin tuition for three years in Lyon (France).
I am happy to teach students of any age and level. I am also able to teach music theory and solfege as I graduated with a music theory degree from the Toulouse Conservatoire, and graduated with a second Bachelor's degree in musicology at the Lyon Conservatoire.

I am used to tailoring the repertoire to my student's preferences, and can either work on film music or classical pieces. It depends on the choice of my students.
I associate the technical practice with a body conscience; I like to begin the lesson by a physical warm-up.
I also like to speak about the historical context in the life of the composer, to give my students a better idea of how to play the piece.
