About Raffaello
Hello, I have a Masters degree from the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes (Paris) in Sciences of religions and societies, and I am currently concluding a bacherlor in Sanskrit at the University of Naples "l'Orientale". My current research focuses on the evolutions of Yoga in Islamicate India and the interactions between Indo-Islamic politico-religious institutions with Indian ascetic institutions.

As part of my work, I propose to provide an introduction and an in-depth explanation of the philosophical and religious currents of India, in particular the different currents that fall under Yoga. To do this, I want to start from a general introduction to Indian history and its religions and then go into the details of the developments of Yoga through the ages. Given my knowledge of Sanskrit, I wish to support my teachings by reading the texts explaining these systems directly from the original language. I obviously adapt the courses to the needs of the listeners, possibly reinforcing one aspect or another which would be of more interest to the students.
