About Alisha
I have recently completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). I’ve previously written an article for Mumbai Mirror, and have other work published in French. In my previous position as an English mentor, my teaching methodology involved reviewing a large variety of English texts such as short stories, dialogues and poems to ensure the student is exposed to several different voices, perspectives and styles. Along with this, I like to use films, TV and music to provide a more dynamic approach to learning English. I also like to include games and debates, while also encouraging the student to write essays, poems and stories wherever possible, and then giving them advice on grammar, spelling, punctuation and overall stylistic choices.
