My teaching method is by analogies. Nature is based on similar analogy, when a student observes a pattern of behavior in the surrounding he/she can relate how this analogy correlates to this system. By doing this even during tests, they can just remember the analogy and student will automatically recollect the pattern and remember how a certain system works.
