About Amaury
Hi !
I am a final year student at École Polytechnique, and I am about to start a doctorate in mathematics.
When I was younger, I was failing in school, especially in maths! One day I had a click thanks to a great teacher. So much so that I decided to make math my job.
I have been giving private lessons in maths and physics at college, high school and prep level for more than 6 years now! I love transmitting and I think that my past as a student in difficulty allows me to put myself in the shoes of my students, for whom these subjects are not necessarily a cakewalk. I also accompanied students from prestigious schools, sharing my experience with them.
Pedagogy is essential for me, and I love trying to give meaning and historical context to math. I'm really convinced that everyone can be good at it if you approach it from the right angle!
