About Mahira
My name is Mahira Choudhury and I’m currently studying for my degree in Social work.
English is my favourite subject and I would love to show other students how amazing and fun the subject can be- from poems to creative writing, English is an amazing way to express yourself.
I studied English Literature at A level and have also done part time work at a primary school, teaching English.

My approach is very personal to the individual. I will test them on a range of different things such as spelling, vocabulary etc. I will focus my teaching on their specific needs but also test them often on other aspects of the subject. I hope to make my students feel confident in their English studies and also show them how fun the subject actually is!
I hope to teach students via Teams or Zoom so they can learn from the comfort of their own home!
