I enjoy teaching children because love introducing them to the brilliant world of books, and observe how every single child absorbs it differently. I like focussing on the history behind the literature a bit more than most teachers, since I'm of the opinion that one has to know the author, the socio-economic frame of the time of writing, the political landscape and a plethora of other things about the background of the text to really be able to grasp the context of what is being written. I believe that doesn't just make the results better in the student, but they also enjoy studying the subject.
