About Kristin
I’m a mother and a believer in Christ. I have been led to follow my heart and engage with children to help them during challenging times. My own children struggle in school and I found it very discouraging the way some (not all) teachers handled it. So I want to combat the negative by being present and helpful to children seeking some assistance.

In my tutoring I will first seek what is needed to help the student and begin by working with them to build trust in my teaching. After the child feels safe to learn then I will proceed with a plan that is best suited for their learning style. It will be calm and gentle but motivational for the children. With permission incentives can be allowed when your child reaches a reading goal.
