In case of academical studies I always focus on the text. First you have to read the text for several times. After that you can take help of any reference book. Though I always prefer unique answers not 'copy & paste '.
In case of grammar , you have to learn the rules first. Then slowly try to apply the rules. Someone who feels trouble in sentence construction should practice translation.
One thing I believe- ' practice makes a man perfect' .
Failure is temporary and there nothing to feel shy if someone is not so good in English. Just try it. One day you will succeed ️.
