About Milena
I am an 18 year old student at Bard College, currently on campus in Berlin in multidisciplinary study. I did all my schooling in the French public system in Paris and therefore very familiar with its operation. I have a baccalaureate in science specializing in mathematics. Having an American mother, I am perfectly bilingual in English / French. I used to be a homework helper since I was for most of my life for my little brother who had a lot of academic difficulties.

I structure my lessons according to the student in question and the obstacles he or she is trying to overcome. I start by trying to understand the source of the blockage and then I adopt a different way of approaching the subject until it works with the student. I then resume the course seen at school and I finish with a few exercises to make sure that the course has been assimilated. Of course, if I see that this method doesn't work, I change my strategy. I am very kind and patient but also resilient and creative. So I would never get upset because the student does not understand, but I would approach the problem with all possible methods until the click did. I would not give homework (except if it is explicitly requested) since the course I am offering should be a reassuring and beneficial help and not a source of additional stress.
