About Caleb
I am currently undertaking my master's degree in mathematics and physics at the University of Manchester. I am very passionate about these subjects and have learnt a lot about the best way to approach them. I would love to teach to share this passion and experience with students. I have also worked with my local holiday club many times and thoroughly enjoyed encouraging new thoughts and helping people develop their ways of thinking.

My approach to teaching is based heavily on problem solving. The best way to learn is by doing, and so I like to work through problems carefully with my students, guiding their thinking and trying to encourage them to ask interesting questions. This philosophy encourages the learning of underlying concepts which can be widely applied instead of memorising solutions to specific problems. Furthermore, solving problems together with a student is invaluable in diagnosing where they struggle with concepts.
