About Anya
I am a dedicated guitar tutor with 5 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 150 students, helping them develop their skills and confidence in playing the guitar. I enjoy sharing my passion for music and guiding students to reach their full potential. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, creativity, and personalized learning. I believe every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to fit individual needs and goals. I focus on building strong fundamentals like chords, fingerstyle, and rhythm, while also encouraging creativity and self-expression through music. I take pride in my students’ progress and achievements, from mastering difficult songs to performing confidently in front of others. My goal is to make learning guitar fun and meaningful, inspiring students to enjoy music and continue growing as musicians for life.

I use creativity and problem-solving to make lessons engaging and effective. I introduce different playing styles, techniques, and music theory that relate to guitar playing. I also connect guitar skills to other subjects like music reading and rhythm training, helping students become well-rounded musicians.
Flexibility is key in my teaching. I adjust lessons based on how students progress and what challenges they face. I am patient and empathetic, supporting learners at their own pace. This approach not only builds technical skills but also inspires passion and confidence in playing the guitar.
