About Myra

I am a passionate guitar tutor with 9 years of experience helping high school and college students discover their love for music. Teaching guitar is more than just a job for me—it's a way to share creativity, build confidence, and inspire others through sound. I’ve taught between 300 to 350 students, each with their own unique goals and styles. My passion for education comes from seeing the joy that learning brings to students. I focus on building strong foundations in chords, rhythm, strumming, and technique, while also encouraging self-expression through music. Every lesson is designed to match the student’s level and interest, helping them grow step by step. One of the biggest milestones in my career has been guiding students to perform at school events, talent shows, and community stages. Many have gone on to create their own music or join bands. I’m proud to be part of their journey and continue to create a supportive, motivating space where every learner feels inspired to keep growing.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for guitar is rooted in clear structure and flexible learning. I guide students through core skills like chords, strumming, and music reading while allowing space to explore their musical interests. Lessons are paced based on each student’s level and learning speed, making the experience both productive and enjoyable.

I believe in teaching with accountability and integrity. I set clear goals and encourage regular practice, while also being honest and supportive in feedback. Students know they can trust me to guide them in a positive and respectful way as they improve step by step.

Collaboration is key in my lessons. I work with each student to create a learning path that matches their goals, whether it’s learning songs, understanding theory, or developing technique. Besides guitar, I can also teach subjects like music theory, rhythm training, and beginner songwriting to support a complete musical foundation.
