I’m a two-time UCT Chemistry graduate with several years of experience tutoring math and science to students of all ages and learning levels. I offer personalised maths and science tutoring tailored to each student’s learning style and academic needs. My teaching approach emphasises building confidence, understanding, and problem-solving skills, rather than merely memorising content. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing independent thinking. I am proficient in English and conduct my lessons in English. During a typical lesson, we review key concepts, work through practice problems together, and discuss strategies for approaching similar questions independently. I also encourage students to explain their reasoning, which helps strengthen their understanding and confidence. My lessons are aimed at school students who need support in mathematics and science, whether they are looking to improve their grades, reinforce foundational knowledge, or prepare for tests and exams. I work with students of different learning levels and adapt my teaching style to ensure lessons remain engaging, structured, and effective.
