About Priscilla

I'm Priscilla, an engineering graduate and MSc student at the University of Hertfordshire. Maths has shaped my whole journey, from my degree to my career as a software engineer. I love making tricky topics feel simple and helping students discover they're more capable than they think.

About the lesson

My Maths lessons are for KS3 and GCSE students (ages 11 to 16) who want to build confidence, fill gaps in their knowledge or prepare for exams. Lessons take place online and start from one hour.

My approach:

- Getting to know you: In our first lesson, I find out what you already know, what you find difficult and what your goals are.
- Step-by-step explanations: I break each topic into small, simple steps so it's easy to follow and remember.
- Learning by doing: We work through examples together, then you practise on your own while I guide and support you.
- Exam preparation: I use exam-style questions and past papers to build your exam technique and confidence.
- Regular feedback: I give clear feedback after lessons so you and your parents can see your progress.

The children not only picked interest in mathematics but came out better and bolder to tackle all mathematics across their part.
