About Pushapleen

As a Structural Engineer with a Master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from the University of Adelaide, I am passionate about applying my professional expertise to educate and inspire students in mathematics and physics. My approach to tutoring is informed by real-world engineering applications, making complex concepts accessible and engaging. I am committed to leveraging my background to provide a structured and professional learning experience, helping students build competence and confidence. My motivation to teach stems from a desire to share the practical insights of theoretical knowledge, fostering both academic and personal growth in my students.

About the lesson

My tutoring approach is centred around understanding individual learning styles and tailoring lessons to meet each student's unique needs. I utilize a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, and independent problem-solving to ensure that concepts are thoroughly understood and skills are built progressively. I emphasize the real-world application of physics and maths to spark interest and show the practical use of abstract concepts.
Each lesson typically lasts for 60 minutes. This duration allows adequate time to introduce new concepts, discuss them in-depth, and apply them through practice problems, without overwhelming the student.
I hold a Master's degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. Currently, I am doing a part-time course in Residential drafting to upskill myself. My professional journey includes working with an engineering consulting company in Adelaide. I have had past experience in tutoring. As an engineer, my job relies on practical use of physics and mathematics in daily life. I have a fairly good understanding of concepts and am capable of catering to the needs of the student.
My lessons are tailored for students of various levels, ranging from high school to university undergraduates. I specialise in helping students who are preparing for exams, struggling with course content, or looking to deepen their understanding of physics and math
