About Tessa
Chess became my focus through hours of practice as a junior player. I have spent 13 years refining my approach to the board. My method relies on time management, calculation, visualization, and constant blunder checking.
Mastering complex pawn structures is essential for a competitive mindset. I also emphasize recording, notation, endgame technique, positional understanding, and middlegame planning alongside opening principles. Connecting with students from club juniors to improving adults remains a sincere joy.
