About Priyanka
I am a tutor who specializes in foundational strategy. I believe that chess is the ultimate gym for the mind. While many focus on complex professional openings, I focus on The Logic of the Game.
My strength lies in my ability to take the basic rules of chess and turn them into a masterclass on patience and strategy. My students appreciate that I don't just teach them how to win, but how to think. I teach chess as a tool for cognitive development. My method focuses on the "First Principles" of the game: Control, Space, and Force. I use interactive digital boards and custom PPT visualisations to show students the "invisible lines" of power on a chess board. We don't just move pieces; we learn to build a logical plan.
The Tactical Puzzle (10 mins): We start with a "Pattern Recognition" challenge to sharpen the brain.
The Concept Study (25 mins): Using visual slides, we study a specific fundamental—like "The Power of the Center" or "King Safety."
Live Analysis (25 mins): We play a guided game where I explain the logic behind every move in real-time, ensuring the student understands the "Why" before the "How."
I provide "Strategic Blueprints" (PDF guides) after every class. My background allows me to explain chess not just as a game, but as a system of pattern recognition and decision-making that helps students improve their concentration in academics as well.
