About Josef
"Teaching chess offers a unique chance to observe how people solve complex problems. I admit that watching a student struggle with a simple tactic before finding the solution is the most rewarding part of my day. Holding an MA Education from the American University of Sharjah helps me structure these lessons effectively.
I focus on recording and notation alongside middlegame planning to ensure steady progress. Developing endgame technique and opening repertoire building requires discipline.
I find joy in seeing students master pattern recognition and positional understanding after months of effort. Blunder checking and game analysis remain central to my instructional style. Refined board vision is the ultimate sign of a player who has truly put in the work."

"Reaching a state of clarity on the board starts here, just as you might expect from a 10.0 rated training standard. Diagnostic rating assessment comes first to identify exactly where your current game stands.
My degree from the American University of Sharjah informs how I break down difficult concepts into manageable parts for all levels. We will look at your recent games to identify recurring habits that hold you back.
Precise feedback is how you grow as a player over time. You will learn to evaluate the board with a sharp, analytical eye. My 13 years of experience in this field allows me to see the path you need to take. I look forward to seeing how your strategic thinking evolves over the next few months."
