About Mara

I’m a chess tutor with more than 9 years of experience coaching students in strategic thinking. My lessons combine practical training with deep analysis of chess positions. Over the years, I have successfully guided many learners through workshops and competition preparation.

I focus on developing strong problem-solving skills through chess. Students practice evaluating positions, planning attacks, and defending carefully.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching chess is structured and focused on building clear problem-solving skills. I help learners understand important principles such as development, center control, and king safety. Students also study tactical patterns like forks, pins, skewers, and discovered attacks. These tactics help players recognize opportunities quickly.

We practice visualization and calculation exercises to strengthen analytical thinking. Learners develop the ability to evaluate positions and predict possible moves. Time management is also included so players can think efficiently during games. Lessons include puzzles, mini challenges, and simple game analysis.
