About Corey
Hello! I'm Corey, and I'm a recent school leaver, going on to do a degree in Medicine at the University of Dundee.
I have always found Physics to be my favourite subject. I appreciate that this puts me in the minority of people, as many people find it challenging, and somewhat boring. Although I disagree that it's boring, I will do my best to make Physics less challenging for you.

My teaching style varies from pupil to pupil. I find that the best way to teach is to go over the subjects taught in school, test the students' prior knowledge and focus on the areas needing development.
SQA Physics exams tend to ask similar questions each year. I find that identifying students' weaker areas, focusing on these and learning the question style is the best recipe for success in N5 and Higher physics.
Throughout the year, I will give out homework as well as 'tests' to aid development. I always try to replicate SQA-level difficulty within my questions to ensure you are learning to the correct standard.
I have experience tutoring sciences to a variety of pupils. I am looking to tutor online via the Teams platform, which is free to use for my pupils. I have found online tuition to be the most effective and convenient for pupils.
I teach off of a MacBook and an iPad, alternating between them. I teach this way to allow theory to be taught from slideshows, but I can walk pupils step-by-step through questions off the iPad, helping them learn the correct steps to follow.
I have 6 A's at National 5, including Physics and Chemistry. I have 5
A's at Higher, including all 3 sciences. I have 3 A's at Advanced Higher, in Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
My lesson length is determined on a student by student basis, and can be flexible to suit everyone.
I am offering tuition for National (N5) Physics and Higher (H) Physics. At present, I am unfortunately able to offer Advanced Higher (AH) Physics tuition, or tuition in other subjects - sorry for the inconvenience.
