About Ibrahim

I am a charismatic and dependable teacher with 5 years of experience delivering instruction to various levels of learners, in both public and private educational settings. I have been tutoring for private school entrance tests and 11+ exams since 2015, and my students have attended a range of grammar and private schools in the Greater London area, including Queen Elizabeth's, Ilford County, Woodford County, St Edmunds, St Olave's and Latymer.
I am currently studying for a Masters in Mathematics and Computer Science, alongside my role as a STEM teacher and coordinator at a secondary school, and assistant manager at a well-known tuition provider.

About the lesson

I am committed to providing students with the necessary tools to achieve their academic goals while instilling the love of learning and cooperative teamwork. My ultimate goal is to empower my students with the ability to undertake independent learning and overcome their individual academic challenges, equipping them with important skills for their exams, secondary education and beyond.

Lessons usually involve a mixture of explanations, examples, and practice questions, with a discussion on different methodologies and exam techniques. Students are guided through the process of discovering the reasoning and effectiveness behind the methods used, as well as applying what they are learning in a variety of contexts. I have my own proven schemes of work aimed at students aged 8-10 - these can be adapted to the individual situation.

I will provide all the required study materials at no extra cost, including notes, worksheets, topic tests, regular homework exercises and mock exams. Lessons will be tailored to prepare your child for the grammar/private schools of your choice.

Within a few months of study, students are not only completely prepared for the challenge and competition of the entrance tests but also have a deeper understanding of the topics covered up to the early KS3 syllabus.
