About the lesson

I have recently noticed that many social science and health science students have difficulty learning this discipline. This class is my answer to that need.

My courses will be adapted to the needs of each specific student, always trying to motivate them and make learning as effective, interesting and entertaining as possible. I am convinced that a good teacher is capable of making the most difficult subject easy. Also that a teacher is much more than a source of knowledge.

Although each educational institution has its own philosophy, statistics are based on a series of subjects and capacities that are usually common in all plans:

0.- Combinatorial
1.- Descriptive statistics
2.- Probability
3.- Random variable
4.- Probability models
5.- Principles of statistical inference
6.- Estimates and contrasts

We will treat each of these topics in an eminently practical way, which is how it is best learned.

Finally, I can also teach you to enhance all these capabilities through specific software: SPSS and Excel. And R for the more adventurous.

R is magnificent. It just makes you want to learn statistics (and data science).
