About Cameron

I have many years of experience in both public school language settings, as well as learning on my own. I was a senior in high school last year struggling through 2 Spanish classes, including AP Spanish Language and Culture. After spending 2 hours studying the language in school, I would get home every night and spend another 2 researching and analyzing the language until I understood everything I know there is to learn.

For those of you out there trying to self-teach, I understand what a struggle that can be, and just know that you are not alone. Having the motivation to learn on your own but lacking the resources to do so can be tough. Please understand that I am more than happy to help in any way that I can.

Reaching fluency isn't easy, but it's doable. All it takes is a great teacher to get you there, which I have been fortunate enough to have in my life. My desire as a tutor is to be that same person to you, so that you have the motivation to continue learning.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I would love to motivate you to love Spanish. Having a source of inspiration is crucial in keeping up a language habit, and it's my ultimate goal as a tutor to give you the materials and encouragement to reach your goals.

For your benefit, clases can be conducted in either English or Spanish. This choice is totally up to you, and ultimately depends on what you think would be most beneficial to your learning. Keep in mind: sometimes what you're most comfortable with is not what's best for you :). I am happy to help with any topic you're struggling with, as well as introduce you to new material. I also have vast experience in public school language education, and I understand how difficult that journey can be, so I would love to be an extra tool for you to use outside of class to help you get those As.

I have a vast knowledge of many topics regarding the Spanish language, and am open to working with you on anything! After the lesson, I am happy to recommend optional "homework" to give you an extra boost outside of our classes, which I will give you feedback on.
