About Jocelyn
I work full time as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist. That means that I work with children with speech and language disorders. We work on pronunciation/articulation, grammar, reading, writing, and speaking the language. I taught English as a second language before to get my Masters in Speech Language Pathology. My specialty is pronunciation of American English. Have you noticed that the pronunciation of English words occasionally changes base on the location of the word in the sentence.
Pronunciation of specific sounds in English can affect intelligibility, but also the amount of stress given to a particular word in a sentence can change the meaning of the sentence. I can help you navigate and build your confidence understanding stress patterns and how to use them in your conversational speech! I can also help you pronounce those tricky English letters!
