About Alexandra
Hi, my name is Lexi, I am a Special Education Teacher with both a Severe and Moderate License. I have been working with neurodiverse students for the past 18 years and continue to be amazed by their perseverance and ability to adapt to the ever changing world. I believe that every behavior is a type of communication. And that all students have a voice that needs to be heard. I will bring a fun and interactive way to learn new strategies that students can use not only at home but in the classroom as well. I hope to not only help reach students but also families that may be struggling to understand behaviors as well as how to best 'teach' their child.

Face to face communication to work on social skills
Delivery of these skills will contain many of the following curriculums and ideas to enhance students social awareness
-use of the zones of regulation
-Super flex ( Michell Garcia Winner)
-SEL Harmony curriculum
-Social stories ( can make for students as needed)
-Us of Calming strategies for classroom time and home time
-CASEL ideas that overlap with multiples states SEL curriculum
Lessons are targeted for students 3rd grade and under who may be neurotypical or neurodiverse.
As a special education early childhood specialist I am able to use my expertise to engage students in a multi modal way and generalize new skills across most settings.
