About Nancy
I am a special education teacher who teachers English and literacy to middle school students on IEPs. I modify lessons and incorporate questioning techniques that allow the student to understand an assignment and form responses to questions. In addition, I have spent 5 years teaching literacy skills to students and have witnessed an increase in reading grade level equivalent of a minimum of 5 months to a full grade level within a school year.
My passion is to teach students reading skills that will allow them to be successful and confident.
