About Maria Camila

Hi! I'm Maria Camila, a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I have a degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and I'm currently completing a Master's in Data Analytics.

I'm bilingual (Spanish and English), so I know how it feels to learn a new language and be nervous when speaking. In my lessons, you'll find a relaxed, friendly space where mistakes are part of learning.

I'm patient, organized, and punctual. My goal is simple: to help you speak Spanish with confidence and enjoy the process. And tell me if you are ready to learn about Colombian slang. I can't wait to meet you!

About the lesson

¡Hola! I'm Maria Camila, a native Spanish speaker from Colombia and a pharmaceutical chemist with years of experience working in international companies. I speak English too, so I can explain things clearly when you need it, especially at the beginning.

My lessons are 100% online and built around YOU: your goals, your level, and your interests. Whether you want to travel, connect with Spanish-speaking family or friends, advance your career, or communicate with Spanish-speaking patients, we will design a plan that fits you.

A typical lesson:
1. Warm-up conversation about your week or a topic you enjoy.
2. A new grammar point or vocabulary set, explained simply with real-life examples.
3. Practice through role-plays and real situations (ordering food, a job interview, a pharmacy or medical visit).
4. Personalized feedback and a short summary of what you learned.

What makes me different: thanks to my scientific background, I also teach medical and pharmaceutical Spanish for nurses, pharmacists, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.

Lessons are for adults and teens of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners who want to polish their fluency.

In our first lesson, I'll assess your level and create a learning plan for your goals. I'm patient, organized, and I love helping people feel confident speaking Spanish. ¡Te espero!
