About Ivy

Hi! I'm Ivy, and I have extensive experience teaching Spanish to people from all walks of life. Over the years, I’ve worked with business owners, doctors, engineers, musicians, financial professionals, university students, and more—helping them speak with confidence in Spanish. Whether you're learning for work, study, travel, or personal growth, I’m here to support your journey with patience, clarity, and enthusiasm. I look forward to seeing you in class!

About the lesson

Would you like to learn Spanish and actually start speaking from the very first class? If you’re tired of finishing grammar exercises but still struggling to say anything in real conversations, then my lessons are exactly what you need. I’m a certified English-Spanish translator with more than 10 years of experience teaching languages in corporate and educational settings. I’ve also trained as an interpreter and hold a BA in Sociology.

I’m deeply passionate about helping students express themselves with confidence. In my classes, we certainly review reading and grammar—but the main focus is always on speaking. You’ll learn how to express feelings, share opinions, and communicate naturally in everyday situations. During our conversations, I’ll gently correct any recurring mistakes and provide detailed feedback at the end of each lesson to help you track your progress. I always aim to make the learning process enjoyable and relaxed while ensuring that you leave each session with something new and useful.

Before we begin, I offer a free placement test and trial session to help determine your level and your learning goals. In our first lesson, we’ll talk about different topics so I can assess your speaking skills and understand what you want to achieve. That way, I can personalize your learning journey and ensure the classes match your pace and interests perfectly.
