About Abigail
My teaching approach focuses on helping students speak Spanish with clarity, confidence, and natural flow. I emphasise pronunciation and accent reduction through targeted phonetic drills and steady repetition. Each lesson includes listening activities using native audio so you can train your ear to real Spanish sounds.
I guide learners to notice small differences in vowels, rhythm, and syllables, then help them practise until the sounds feel comfortable and consistent. We repeat key phrases, practise short dialogues, and work with everyday expressions to build strong speaking habits. Over time, you begin to understand more and feel more understood.
I work especially well with Heritage Learners who want to refine their spoken Spanish or fill in gaps from childhood exposure. I also support hobby learners by making lessons simple, fun, and full of practical communication exercises. Every session is tailored to your needs, goals, and learning style.

I’m a Spanish tutor with 9 years of experience and a Master of Arts in Spanish Language Pedagogy. I love working creatively with neurodivergent young learners and helping them explore Spanish in ways that feel supportive and fun. My lessons often include sensory activities, visual schedules, and specialised communication techniques that make learning more accessible and engaging.
I take a patient, gentle approach with every student. Some days we use adaptive tools to break down tasks, and other days we focus on simple routines that build comfort and confidence. I stay flexible so each child can learn in a way that matches their needs.
I create individualised learning plans that grow with the student, adjusting as they discover new strengths. Communication skills are at the heart of my work, whether we’re practising basic greetings or celebrating a newly learned phrase. Every small victory matters, and I make sure each one is noticed and appreciated.
