About Ivy

I am a passionate Spanish tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree in Language Studies. My interest in languages started at a young age, and Spanish quickly became a focus due to its global importance and rich cultural background. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds, helping each one reach their language goals with confidence. My teaching style is flexible, patient, and responsive to individual needs. I understand that every learner has a unique pace and reason for studying Spanish—whether it's for travel, work, school, or personal growth. I make it a priority to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to speak, make mistakes, and improve naturally. In my lessons, I emphasize real-world communication and practical usage alongside grammar and vocabulary. I enjoy incorporating cultural elements such as music, film, and traditions to make lessons more engaging and meaningful. My goal is not only to teach the language but to help students connect with the people and cultures behind it. What motivates me most as a tutor is seeing students gain confidence in their abilities.
