About Jéssica
About me
I am a Brazilian teacher and I have been studying Spanish for over 13 years. I started as a curious teenager who wanted to talk about music with people from all over the world, especially from around Latin America and Spain. I have studied the language by myself and with the help of Hispanic friends and, when I got to Spain in 2014, I was already fluent and I took the experience living there for a year to keep learning.
I also teach English so I can improve my language teaching skills, but Spanish is what I breathe. You will learn tons of ways to adquire a language, as I always incorporate my experiences in my teaching method. For the past 3 years, I have been discovering that every student learns Spanish differently, so I make sure my lectures are personalized, interactive, and adapted to your interests and pace. I am in constant pursuit of knowledge about the language and didact methods, and I make sure I keep my lecture up to date. Let's schedule a call?

My teaching method is focused on fluid and natural communication, seeking a deep connection with the language. I have been teaching Spanish for more than 3 years and each class, each student, is an opportunity to improve and personalize my teaching. My didactic resources are diverse, focusing on direct connection with the language, with no intermediaries and translations. Targeted or free dialogs, diagrams, visual resources, online browsing and usage-oriented grammar are the most used means. Music, movies, poetry, and culture, in general, are important means, but always prioritizing the optimization of the class time.
