About Erika
I have been studying to be a Spanish teacher since way back in middle school! I've always wanted to be a Spanish teacher in some capacity. I have always actively studied the language outside of class to improve my proficiency beyond the levels expected by my professors. In addition, I've studied abroad in both Spain and Argentina! I am a NYS Certified Spanish Teacher and have been teaching for eight years and counting. I am always learning new techniques and updating my instructional practices to keep up with research-based methods. I consistently seek out professional development and regularly attend NYSAFLT (New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers) conferences, among many others.
