About Irene
I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for more than seven years. I am passionate about languages: I have studied English, French, German and Italian. I was born in Murcia, the Huerta of Spain, but I have been living in Alicante for several years. In my spare time, I write, dance African dance, do yoga and surf. Although I am very animalistic, I love dealing with people, I always have a smile on my face, a good sense of humour and a great desire to make the most of the day! For me, it is essential to create a close and familiar atmosphere in class so that you can relax and learn while you feel at ease and have a good time.

With me you learn while having fun. I apply cognitive grammar in class; that is, instead of focusing on abstract and formal rules, we focus on how we use language and how we process it in our mind. On the other hand, if your intention is to improve your writing and editing, to make a correct use of accentuation and punctuation (commas, full stops, colons, semicolons...), you are in luck: I am a certified language consultant and proofreader. I teach you to write according to the grammatical and spelling rules laid down by the Real Academia Española (RAE).
