My tutoring style is: -enthusiastic and upbeat -helpful and patient -encouraging and supportive I offer a range of activities to keep learning varied and engaging, offer regular feedback to accelerate progress and continually assess understanding to ensure any misconceptions and weaknesses are addressed.

About the lesson

Discounted rates for group sessions* Online sessions 1-1 sessions £32 per student/child 2-1 sessions (2 chn. learning together) £22.50 per ch 3-1 sessions (3 chn. learning together) £18 per ch 4-1 sessions (4 chn. learning together) £16 per ch. Face to face sessions £40 1-1 sessions or 2-1 sessions for £25 per chn. Due to my wealth of experience managing varied abilities within my own class, I can offer discounted sessions for multiple students/children to learn at the same time, despite differing ages or abilities. However, if you require 1-1 sessions to learn alone, I can also of course accommodate this. I am Miss Edwards (Sylvie), an experienced and fully qualified senior teacher, currently employed as Class Teacher and Head of Year. I lived in South America for one year and worked in Brazil, Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru which required me to learn Spanish to communicate effectively with my colleagues. I have also taught in Spanish to classes of KS1, KS2, KS3 and adult students. I am DFE rated as ‘Outstanding’ and offer a very high standard of tuition in Maths, English and Spanish to all ages of Primary children from Nursery through to Year 6 (up to GCSE in Spanish). I specialise in fast-tracking progress in short spaces of time by employing visual and practical techniques, approaching learning in different ways and building genuine relationships with students/children in order to build their self-belief and help them to realise their true potential. One of my greatest achievement thus far is aiding pupils in making 2 and a half year’s progress in just 1 year. I currently have a very full schedule of children of all ages across EYFS, KS1, KS2 and GCSE. However, I have a few spaces remaining Mon-Fri after school through to the evening and will be available for sessions throughout the summer holidays.
