About Stephanie

Hi! My name is Teacher Steph! I have a Bachelors Degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. I have been teaching English and Spanish as a second language to kids and adults for two years. I am also learning Italian and French so I know the difficulties that come with learning a new language. I am a firm believer that the learning process can definitely be a fun experience! I can't wait to see you in my classroom!

About the lesson

Each lesson is taught 100% in Spanish, I aid students with images of new vocabulary words and help them learn the language by using different ways of communicating (drawing a pictures, using hand gestures).

Kid lesson 5 yrs- 15 yrs.
- We will start our lesson by talking about our day (2-4 minutes)
- Go over class objectives (2-3 minutes)
- Review our last lesson and vocabulary (5 minutes)
- Sing a song (2 minutes)
- Learn new vocabulary words (3-4 minutes)
- Vocabulary activity (3-5) minutes
- Story time (3-5 minutes)
- Review Lesson (3-4 minutes)
- Goodbye activity (1-2 minutes)
Class length 28-33 minutes

Adult lesson 16 yrs+
- We will start our lesson by talking about our day (4-6minutes)
- Go over class objectives (3-5 minutes)
- Review our last lesson and vocabulary (5 minutes)
- Vocabulary activity (2-3 minutes)
- Learn new vocabulary words (3-4 minutes)
- Vocabulary activity (3-5) minutes
- Article time time (5-8minutes)
- Discussion questions (5-8 minutes)
- Review Lesson (3-4 minutes)
- Goodbye activity (3-5 minutes)
Class length 40-45 minutes

I have been and ESL and Spanish as a second language teacher for two years, I am also learning Italian and French and know the struggles that come with learning a new language. I plan different types of activities for each student and as I get to know each student moreI tailor each lesson to make it more appealing to each student.
I have experience teaching children and adults in a 1-1 setting as well as in groups.
