About Samuel

I am a native (although, yes, I am ginger!) Spanish-speaker having grown up in Mallorca, Spain before moving to Rugby in the midlands, with my family, where I was fortunate enough to learn English fluently at school and home, whilst keeping my Spanish up at home.
I then moved to Bath in 2014 to study Acting at Bath Spa University and graduated with a first in 2017.

Currently, I work as a freelance actor/performer, director and workshop facilitator where I teach Theatre skills to all ages from primary to adults. I also assist in a Dance-Theatre company, where we create and make our own original work.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch should you wish to get practicing your spoken, or written Spanish, or even learn the whole language from scratch! I welcome all levels and ages. I can also translate documents, speeches or anything you might need.

About the lesson

Learning a new language is exciting! Whether that be for pleasure, travel, business, exams or because someone you know is also learning it!

Well, I can help you on this exciting adventure! Lessons are based around you and your needs, and always tailored to make sure you are learning at the pace you want, and to suit your lifestyle. I can take you bit-by-bit, starting from scratch; or dive you into the deep end, speaking almost no English in our lessons at all.

I can teach all ages and abilities, ensuring that the topics covered in your sessions are personal to you, giving you that extra helping hand in your journey. I can teach from primary school ages using my experience in play-work, right through to A-Levels, preparing for exams. I can also teach adults who want to start something new, or brush up on their ‘rusty’ Spanish. Learning will always be suited and adapted to you.

I can teach online or face to face; in your own house, at a cafe etc.
If you are advanced in Spanish and simply looking for extra practice or accent reduction, I am also very happy to offer an alternative session style through spoken practice over a walk or a coffee.

The important thing for me is that you quickly develop your skills (always respecting your own pace) whilst having a good time! I am very friendly and aim to ensure a welcoming and fun atmosphere during the sessions!
