About Zaya

I have 10 years of experience teaching Spanish to learners across a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and goals. I hold a Master’s in Hispanic Studies and Applied Linguistics, giving me deep expertise in language structure, teaching methodologies, and cultural context. This combination allows me to create lessons that are both academically rigorous and highly engaging, tailored to the needs and learning style of each student.

My teaching approach emphasizes patience, individualized attention, and interactive learning. I focus on helping learners understand grammar, develop fluency, and gain confidence in speaking, reading, and writing. Lessons integrate conversation, exercises, role-play, and cultural exploration, creating a vibrant learning environment that nurtures curiosity and competence.

Outside the classroom, I stay immersed in Spanish through literature, music, media, and travel, which enriches my teaching with authentic cultural insight. About the lesson

My Spanish lessons are designed to help learners develop comprehensive language skills while gaining an appreciation for Hispanic culture, traditions, and everyday communication. Students practice grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking, and listening in a dynamic and interactive manner, combining structured exercises with real-life conversational scenarios. Emphasis is placed on contextual understanding, idiomatic usage, and practical application, ensuring that learners feel confident using Spanish in everyday situations as well as academic or professional settings.

Lessons are tailored to each student’s proficiency. Beginners focus on foundational grammar, basic vocabulary, pronunciation, and simple sentence structures, combined with interactive speaking exercises to build confidence. Intermediate learners explore complex grammar, nuanced vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing short essays, and conversational fluency, including culturally relevant content to deepen engagement. Advanced learners refine composition skills, idiomatic expressions, oral presentations, literature analysis, and professional communication, preparing them for higher education, travel, or work contexts. Every lesson includes exercises, role-play, discussion, and constructive feedback to ensure meaningful progress.

Beyond technical skills, Spanish lessons foster cultural awareness, creativity, and confidence.
